Flexible Work Arrangement
As a flex houseparent, you and your spouse will have the flexibility to manage your work schedule, allowing you to balance your responsibilities as a caregiver with your personal needs. This includes a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with workdays including a period of personal time while students are at school. You will also have the opportunity to take a three-week paid summer vacation.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You must abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus and have valid driver's licenses. Additionally, you and your spouse must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
