Milton Hershey School (MHS) offers a unique opportunity for a married couple to become Flex Houseparents. In this role, you will reside in an on-campus student home and guide a group of approximately 8-12 students, creating a family-like environment and ensuring their well-being.
Your responsibilities will include managing daily activities, driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. You will work closely with your partner and other staff members to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for the students.
The total compensation package includes a salary of $43,825 per person, making it around $150,000 per couple, along with comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and a generous time-off policy.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. As a married couple, you must have at least two years of marriage and meet certain age requirements. We welcome pets that are limited to fish and approved breeds of dogs.
