Flex Houseparent Role
We are seeking a married couple to join our team as Flex Houseparents. In this role, you will reside in an on-campus student home, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. You will provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.
Responsibilities:
• Provide daily care and support to students, promoting their emotional and psychological well-being
• Develop and maintain a positive relationship with students, encouraging their personal growth and development
• Manage the household, including meal preparation, cleaning, and maintenance
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless student care and support
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• Must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and participating in Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
