We are seeking married couples to join our team as House Parents, providing a nurturing and structured environment for disadvantaged students.
Job Summary:
As House Parents at Milton Hershey School, you will reside in on-campus homes with your spouse and provide care for a group of 8-12 children. This unique role requires couples to support the educational and personal development of students while managing household responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a safe and supportive living environment for students
- Serving as a positive role model and mentor for students
- Assisting with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Encouraging students' academic and personal growth
Requirements:
- Couples must be married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and comfort leading students in daily devotions
