What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parenting Couples for Student Development position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School offers a unique career path for married couples who want to become Parenting Couples for Student Development. As a Parenting Couple, you and your spouse will live with 8-12 students in an on-campus home and provide a family-like structure for students.
Responsibilities include administration of medication, driving, budgeting, reporting, and guiding and nurturing students. You will work together to provide a structured work schedule for fostering student development.
The ideal candidate couple should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. They should be legally married for at least two years, both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited).
