At Milton Hershey School, we are seeking a married couple to fill the role of Houseparents. As a Houseparent, you will provide a nurturing and supportive environment for students in a residential setting. This position requires a married couple to manage a home for 8-12 students, involving responsibilities such as transportation, medication administration, and financial oversight.
The successful candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Valid driver's licenses and the ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. The schedule consists of nine days on followed by three days off, with personal time while students are at school. Three-week paid summer vacation is also provided.
