What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Caregivers Needed position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is a private school that provides an exceptional career-focused education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are seeking a married couple to become part of our flex houseparent team.
As a flex houseparent, you will reside in an on-campus student home and guide a group of approximately 8-12 students. Your responsibilities will include providing a consistent family-like structure, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc., and being available to support students during non-traditional hours.
We offer a competitive compensation package including salary, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training provided. Our benefits also include a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, as well as three-week paid summer vacation.
Candidates should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
