Flex House Parents at Milton Hershey School provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities including driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and more. When initially hired, Flex House Parents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
The role requires experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older and have been legally married for at least two years. The couple must also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
