Job Overview
Milton Hershey School is seeking a married couple to join our team as Houseparents, Full-Time. As a houseparent, you will provide nurturing care and guidance to a group of 8-12 students in a family-like environment.
Responsibilities
- Reside on-campus and share responsibilities such as driving, budgeting, and administering medication.
- Provide a consistent family-like structure for students.
- Handle various tasks including reporting and maintenance of student homes.
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings.
- A married couple who have been legally married for at least two years.
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older.
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
