\About the Job:
\As a Family Care Specialist, you will:
\- Provide a nurturing environment for students in a family-like structure \
- Support 8-12 students in daily activities and responsibilities \
- Work closely with your partner to create a safe and supportive home environment \
- Guide and mentor students in developing essential life skills \
- Help students achieve their academic goals
Requirements:
\- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings \
- Must be married for at least two years \
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older \
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home \
- Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus \
- Limitations on pets \
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans \
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
