Milton Hershey School provides a nurturing, family-like environment for students in a residential setting. We are seeking married couples to become part of our team as Full-Time Family Caregivers.
About the Role
As a Full-Time Family Caregiver, you will provide a consistent family-like structure for students, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. You will work closely with your spouse to create a positive and supportive living environment for our students.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and support to students
- Manage student home responsibilities, including household chores and maintenance
- Transport students to school and extracurricular activities
- Administer medication and provide medical support as needed
- Develop and implement plans for student development and growth
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Couples must be comfortable leading daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services
