What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Houseparents and Mentors position at Milton Hershey School?
Job Description
As Residential Youth Caregivers, married couples will reside in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. They will provide a consistent family-like structure for the students, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and more.
Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as they will serve as role models for the students. Both spouses must complete an individual employment application and be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
The ideal candidates should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. They must also be age 27 or older and have no more than three dependent children residing in the student home.
