Responsibilities:
Flex houseparents are responsible for guiding and nurturing groups of approximately 8-12 students, handling various responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services, demonstrating a high degree of integrity and a willingness to serve others.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, couples should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required, along with a high school diploma or GED.
