What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Support Staff position at Milton Hershey School?
Responsibilities
- Guide and nurture a group of approximately 8-12 students
- Provide a consistent family-like structure for students
- Handle daily responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.
- Lead students in daily devotions
- Attend Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
As a Residential Support Staff member, you will work closely with your spouse to create a supportive living space for students. You will also adhere to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy.
The successful candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years. Both spouses should be age 27 or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
The benefits package includes a salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and three-week paid summer vacation.
