Job Description:
The Residential Youth Caregiver role involves guiding and nurturing students in a family-like environment. Couples serve as flex houseparents, supporting approximately 8-12 students and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. Flex houseparents provide a consistent structure for students and are responsible for leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, couples must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Couples must also abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus and have valid driver's licenses. High school diplomas or GEDs are required, and candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity.
