This role offers an impressive compensation package, consisting of a salary of $43,825 per person, totaling approximately $150,000 per couple. Key Responsibilities
As Houseparents, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in student homes, fostering positive relationships with students, and encouraging their social, emotional, and academic development. Your duties will also include guiding students in daily devotions, taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services, and handling daily responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and more. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and prioritize student needs above all else.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be at least 27 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also essential. We value candidates who can demonstrate a high degree of empathy, patience, and dedication to supporting vulnerable children.
