Job Description

As a Residential Youth Care Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to provide a nurturing environment for 8-12 students. You will work alongside your spouse to create a family-like setting, guiding students in daily activities, handling daily responsibilities, and fostering a sense of belonging.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing emotional support and guidance to students
• Managing student behavior and discipline
• Coordinating daily routines and schedules
• Participating in weekly meetings with the residential staff

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
• A high school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• High level of integrity and commitment to the well-being of students
