Milton Hershey School is hiring Residential Youth Caregivers to join our team. As a Residential Youth Caregiver, you and your spouse will provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This role requires a high degree of integrity, patience, and a strong commitment to supporting the educational and personal development of 8-12 students.
About the Position:
This position involves managing daily routines, providing emotional support, and guiding students in their academic and personal growth. You and your spouse will reside on campus, creating a stable family-like structure for students. Your responsibilities will include driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. You will also have the opportunity to lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Compensation Package:
As a Residential Youth Caregiver, you can expect a salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple) which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
