About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for a married couple to make a difference in the lives of students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As houseparents, you will provide a family-like structure and guidance to a group of approximately 8-12 students.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation package includes a salary of $43,825 per person, totaling approximately $150,000 for couples. This comprehensive package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as health savings and flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability options, and retirement savings.
Your Responsibilities
You will reside on campus in student homes, caring for a group of approximately 8-12 students. Your responsibilities will include driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and leading daily devotions. You will also take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- A couple who has been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
