We are seeking experienced married couples to join our team as flex houseparents at the Milton Hershey School. As a key member of our residential care team, you will provide critical support to our students and contribute to their academic success and personal growth.
Job Description
As a flex houseparent, you will live in one of our on-campus student homes and take on various responsibilities, including driving students, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and handling other household tasks. You will also play a significant role in guiding and nurturing our students, creating a family-like environment that encourages their social, emotional, and academic development.
Key Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You should also be legally married for at least two years, age 27 or older, and comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Additionally, you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and demonstrate a high degree of integrity.
