We are looking for experienced couples to become part of our Flex Houseparent team at Milton Hershey School. As a Flex Houseparent, you and your spouse will live on-campus with a group of 8-12 students, providing guidance and support to help them thrive.
About the Role
As a Flex Houseparent, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for students, handling daily responsibilities such as driving, budgeting, and reporting. You will also have opportunities to engage in personal and professional growth through comprehensive training and development programs.
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Legally married couple with both spouses aged 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
