What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Youth Support Team Members position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become part of our residential youth support team. As flex houseparents, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The ideal candidate couple will have prior experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings. They should be comfortable living on-campus and leading daily devotions, as well as taking students to Sunday chapel services. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
As a flex houseparent, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. This includes handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. You will also be expected to work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
