We are hiring married couples to become flex houseparents, providing a consistent family-like structure for students and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
Job Description
Flex houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. They provide a supportive environment, handle daily tasks, and maintain a safe, healthy living space for students.
This unique position requires a commitment from both spouses to act as role models and support the students' development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
