As a flex houseparent, you will play a critical role in nurturing and guiding 8-12 students in a family-like environment. You will be responsible for daily activities, including driving, administering medication, and creating a supportive educational atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Nurturing and guiding students in a family-like environment
- Driving and transporting students
- Administering medication and ensuring student well-being
- Providing a supportive educational atmosphere and promoting academic success
- Leading daily devotions and taking students to Sunday chapel services
Requirements:
- Experience working with youth, preferably from underserved settings
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
