We are seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents at Milton Hershey School, where students from pre-K through 12th grade receive an exceptional career-focused education with housing, meals, and more.
As a flex houseparent, you will reside in an on-campus student home, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. This role requires flexibility, patience, and a willingness to support the academic, emotional, and social development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a stable and supportive family environment for students
- Assist with daily tasks and activities, such as cooking, cleaning, and errands
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and other school staff
- Cultivate positive relationships with students, faculty, and staff
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
Benefits:
