Student Home Experience
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, providing a supportive environment for students in need. As a flex houseparent, you will live on campus with your spouse and guide a group of 8-12 students, helping them develop essential life skills and achieve their full potential.
The role involves managing daily logistics, supporting student well-being, and fostering a sense of community within the student home. You will work closely with other staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and handling other tasks related to student care. You will also be expected to lead students in daily devotions and take them to Sunday chapel services. A high school diploma or GED is required, and both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, resulting in a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple. This includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Our schedule offers nine days on followed by three days off, allowing for personal time while students are at school. You will also enjoy three-week paid summer vacation.
