We are seeking experienced and compassionate married couples to join our team as Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. As a Houseparent, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and supportive environment for our students.
About the Role:
You will reside in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. This unique role requires flexibility and adaptability, as you will be responsible for handling various responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, and budgeting.
Responsibilities:
- Guide and nurture students in a family-like environment.
- Provide emotional support, driving services, and administer medication as needed.
- Handle responsibilities such as budgeting and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings.
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older.
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
