Job Summary
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, residing on-campus with our students and serving as positive role models.
As a flex houseparent, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment for your assigned students, handling daily routines, and providing guidance and support as needed.
You will work closely with your spouse and other staff members to ensure the well-being and success of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing environment for assigned students
- Manage daily routines and provide guidance and support as needed
- Work closely with spouse and other staff members to ensure student well-being and success
- Participate in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- At least two years of marriage
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students
