What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supportive Parents Sought for Students in Need position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is committed to providing exceptional educational opportunities for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. To achieve this goal, we are seeking married couples to serve as residential caregivers, providing a supportive and nurturing environment for our students.
As a residential caregiver couple, you will reside on-campus with your students, guiding and mentoring them in a family-like setting. This includes participating in daily devotions, Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services, and other activities that promote the students' physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Key qualifications include:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- High school diploma or GED required
