What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Caregivers - Couples Wanted position at Milton Hershey School?
We are looking for experienced married couples to become part of our team as Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. As a Houseparent, you will be responsible for managing a group of 8-12 students, providing them with a family-like environment and supporting their educational needs.
As a Houseparent, you will work closely with the students, providing guidance, encouragement, and discipline when needed. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean living environment for the students.
Milton Hershey School offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as relocation assistance and paid training. Our Houseparents enjoy a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school.
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
