What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Caregivers Sought for Family-Like Environment position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as residential youth caregivers. As a married couple, you will reside on-campus and provide a family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Responsibilities include providing care and support, managing daily tasks, and being a positive role model for our students. This unique opportunity offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of young individuals.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be at least 27 years old, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
We offer a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, with limitations on pets. Valid driver's licenses are required, as well as the ability to become certified to drive student home vans. Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
A high school diploma or GED is required, and both spouses must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for our students.
This is a two-person job that requires consideration and commitment from both spouses. If you're looking for a unique career path that allows you to make a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply.
