Job Description
As a Youth Development Specialist, you and your spouse will serve as flex houseparents for a group of students. Your role will involve guiding, supporting, and nurturing these young people, creating a family-like environment that fosters their growth and development. You will be responsible for driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting, among other tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this position, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be at least 27 years old, and you should have a high school diploma or GED. You must also be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Sunday chapel services. Additionally, you should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and demonstrate a high degree of integrity.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, resulting in a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple. This includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. We also provide comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off.
