This is a unique career path for married couples who are passionate about helping youth thrive. As flex houseparents, couples will provide guidance and a family-like structure for students, overseeing student activities, driving, and administering care within a nurturing environment. They will also handle responsibilities such as budgeting, reporting, and leading daily devotions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and they must have been legally married for at least two years. No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Valid driver's licenses and the ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
