Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, providing guidance and support to a group of students in a family-like environment. About the Role

This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years. Both spouses should be age 27 or older. Responsibilities include:

• Nurturing and guiding students in a family-like environment
• Administering medication and managing student health
• Budgeting and managing household expenses
• Driving and transporting students

Candidates must have experience working with youth, a commitment to student welfare, and a high degree of integrity.

Benefits

• A salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple)

Qualifications

Candidates must:

• Have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
• Be married for at least two years
• Be age 27 or older
• Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
• Limitations on pets: only fish and one dog of approved breeds are permitted
• Have a valid driver's license and be able to become certified to drive student home vans

Salary : $43,825
