What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Development Liaison position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is a world-renowned institution that provides exceptional education and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are currently seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students in a family-like structure.
As flex houseparents, you will be involved in various responsibilities such as transportation, medication administration, budgeting, and reporting. You will also have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with your students and provide them with a stable and supportive environment.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary of $43,825 per person (totaling around $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. Our schedule allows for nine days on followed by three days off, with personal time while students are at school. You will also receive a three-week paid summer vacation.
To qualify for this role, you should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
