Job Description
As a Youth Development Specialist at Milton Hershey School, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our students in a home-like setting. This involves responsibilities such as driving, medication administration, and budgeting, as well as fostering a nurturing environment for approximately 8-12 students. We require commitment from both spouses to lead and mentor our students, promoting their academic and personal growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You should also have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Both spouses must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited).
