Job Description:
The Youth Development Specialist role involves married couples serving as flex houseparents, guiding and nurturing students in a supportive family-like environment. Responsibilities include providing care, administering medication, and managing household duties while living on campus.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this role, couples must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. They should have been legally married for at least two years, be age 27 or older, and have no more than three dependent children residing in the student home.
Both spouses must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. They should also have a valid driver's license and be able to become certified to drive student home vans.
A high school diploma or GED is required, and candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
