Job Summary
We are seeking married couples to become flex houseparents at Milton Hershey School. As a flex houseparent, you will provide guidance and support to students, while managing daily responsibilities and ensuring a family-like atmosphere in the student home. This role requires flexibility, patience, and a willingness to lead by example.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide a nurturing environment for students, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development
• Manage daily responsibilities, including household chores, meal planning, and budgeting
• Guide students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
• Maintain open communication with school administrators and staff
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities
Requirements
• Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses should be age 27 or older
• Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and a high degree of professionalism

• Salary: $43,825 per person (total compensation package: approx. $150,000 per couple)
