Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents for middle and high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds. These positions involve providing guidance and a family-like environment for 8-12 students while managing various responsibilities and activities.
The ideal candidates will have experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings, and must be legally married for at least two years. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
The selected couple will be responsible for leading daily devotions, taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services, and being comfortable with limitations on pets and smoking. Valid driver's licenses and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are required.
