Job Description:
The Youth Development Specialist at Milton Hershey School serves as a flex houseparent for students, providing a nurturing and structured family-like environment. Responsibilities include guidance, administration of medication, and managing family logistics. Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this role, couples must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Couples must also be smoke-free and weapon-free, and abide by the campus's pet policy.
