Job Summary: We are seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, providing a family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a flex houseparent, you will guide a small group of students, ensuring their educational and personal needs are met while living on campus.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a consistent family-like structure for students, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting
- Lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- Foster a nurturing atmosphere as role models, guiding students towards academic and personal success
- Participate in regular meetings with other flex houseparents to discuss student progress and share best practices
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older and have a high school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students
