Intern - Marketing and Social Media

Job Description

The Intern – Marketing and Social Media will support the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club Marketing department by assisting with the development and execution of various marketing initiatives. Additional responsibilities will include supporting overall project management, content creation and social media among other areas.

Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with basic project management tasks for the development and execution  of overall marketing initiatives through supporting the creation of content for social channels.
• Proactively research and evaluate opportunities via social media for additional exposure.
• Support game day responsibilities which may include but are not limited to support with Kids Crew Early Entry, Community Night activation, and Theme Night Giveaway redemption.
• Utilize systems to schedule content on social channels.
• Support the promotion of ballpark events and marketing initiatives – including X-Golf, Barrell Yard & American Family Field social accounts.
• Assist with event logistics to capture specified photos and content to use on social channels.
• Assist with the creation of content and marketing materials as needed.
• Attends digital editorial and planning meetings.

The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled or recent graduate from an accredited college or university pursuing a Sports Marketing/Administration, Marketing, or Marketing Research degree. Candidates with the ability to communicate effectively in addition to possessing strong attention to detail and organizational skills are preferred.
