Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily focus on accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, reporting, and revenue contract management. Additionally, the Accountant will be responsible for preparing sales commission calculations. This role would be best suited for someone responsible, and detail oriented with special emphasis on problem solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Create and send customer invoices in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report on aged accounts receivable.
- Manage revenue contracts and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Prepare accurate sales commission calculations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support the Accounting Manager with reconciliations and various accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and revenue recognition principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience with ERP systems.
