Your Role on Our Team:
The Assembler I will work on Quarter Pallet (QP) Line(s), Conversion, other special orders assembling Kitting products, automated or manual, and will assist the production areas in various tasks including assembling corrugate, completing Quart Pallet Displays, sorting, counting, 5S activities, replenishing supplies, organizing stock, and assignments. May serve as a backup to other positions in other areas at the direction of management; other duties as assigned.
You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:?
Work on non-automated and automated equipment such as RF Sealer, QP Conveyance Lines, Clamshell Machine, and other Kitting functions
Perform repetitive operations, according to provided work instructions and area metrics
Prepare finished products for shipment by constructing boxes, placing labels on boxes, placing products in boxes, and placing closed boxes on pallet per work instructions
Practice 5S by keeping work area clean by disposing empty boxes and cardboard, as well as keeping material
Inform proper leadership personnel of material shortage
May work as member of assembly group and be assigned different workstations, maintaining flexibility by flowing to work, as production needs require or shift from one station to another to reduce fatigue factor
May participate in group meetings to exchange job related information
Use fixtures, jigs, hand tools as necessary, to ensure proper position and/or movement of components and parts
Be alert, detect obvious defects and take necessary measures to correct
Proactively work with team members to meet production goals
Train others in all areas
Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
Abide by all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees
The TOOLS you'll bring with you:
High school diploma or equivalent
Process assembly experience, preferably in manufacturing environment - At least 6 months
Agility - Flexible to change to other QP Lines or areas in one shift
Excellent eye-hand coordination
Ability to perform repetitive tasks- while standing
Attention to Detail
Self-Motivation
Understand and Follow Instructions
Must be able to work with a team respectfully and effectively
