Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to safely operate light manufacturing equipment and follow work instructions during Milwaukee Tool Accessories production.
- Assisting in the maintaining of equipment and plant to Milwaukee 6S standards
- Accurately recording production data
- Constantly works to ensure equipment is exceeding performance metrics
- Ensures timely job changeovers
- Coordinates with the Department Leads to fulfil Work Orders
Skills & Qualifications:
- Mathematical and analytical skills
- Possess proven mechanical ability or aptitude
- Accuracy and attention to detail required
- Familiarity with correct PPE wear and safety policies
Education and/or Experience:
- High School degree/GED
- 1-2 years of experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous stamping, grinding, deburring, spot welding, experience with automation, or chemical safety experience is a plus
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- The employee may be required to occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 70 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Occasional bending, crouching, twisting, reaching
- Employees may be required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in certain work cells.
