Logistics Coordinator - 2-4 month Contract

Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore - Wauwatosa, WI

Full-time - Tuesday thru Saturday - onsite

Tuesday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm, Saturday 8:30am - 4:00pm

Position Overview

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for communicating with donors and drivers, scheduling pick ups, and ensuring the Logistics Department runs efficiently. It is a challenge and an invitation.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Respond to phone calls and emails from our Donation Hotline
• Capture Donor information for all scheduled pickups
• Utilize Vonigo scheduling software to most efficiently schedule pick ups
• Provide drivers with accurate route sheets
• Communicate and problem solve with drivers throughout the day
• Perform weekly audits with drivers
• Work with store managers to identify trends and needs of the stores
• Timely complete projects assigned
• Continually improve your knowledge of donor and shopper trends

Education

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to multitask effectively
• Attention to detail ensuring accuracy and completeness of work
• Approaches all tasks with a sense of urgency, enthusiasm and initiative
• Strong organizational skills while adapting to ever changing situations
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office/Excel
• High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years related experience required.
• Required to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis and may experience frequent bending, squatting, lifting and repetitive motion

Compensation

• $16.50 an hour
