The Mathematics Department at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) is currently seeking applications for an Assistant Professor of Actuarial Science to start in Fall 2025. We are seeking a passionate educator to contribute to the growth of our Actuarial Science program, which is recognized by the Society of Actuaries (SOA) as UCAP-AC (University and College with Actuarial Programs - Advanced Curriculum).

The successful candidate will primarily teach courses in probability, financial mathematics, and advanced actuarial science. Advising and mentoring students, supporting their professional development, and participating in departmental service and outreach activities are also key responsibilities of this position.

Candidate Qualifications

  • PhD in actuarial science, probability, statistics, data science, or a closely related field required. Alternatively, will accept a Master's Degree with at least 1 year of professional actuarial experience.
