- The Nursing Director is the Nursing Leader for the Nursing Home.
- Responsible for the patient population and assigned nursing and ancillary staff.
- Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the activities that take place in the Nursing Home.
- Provide direction, support, and guidance to nurses and other staff.
- Twenty-four hour accountability for Nursing Staff.
- Patients need care 24/7 and facility employees must be available to provide that care.
- Employees are to care for patients regardless of the patient’s personal characteristics.
Qualifications:
- 2 years Director of Nursing experience and/or 2 years as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a long term care facility preferred

Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- NM RN License
- BLS certification
