What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary School Administrative Assistant position at Mimi Farley Elementary?
This is a 210 day assignment. A high school diploma or GED is required. Applicant needs to be proficient in typing, word processing, and file maintenance. It will be helpful to possess organizational, commuinication and interpersonal skills. Applicant must have excellent people and telephone skills. Knowledge of administrative policies, school district programs and operations is a plus.
Education Aide Certification preferred or must be willing to obtain certification through Texas Education Agency and get fingerprinting done. The Administrative Assistant to Superintendent will help with this.
Must have experience working with students or parents as approved by the employing superintendent. Experience may be work in church related schools, day camps, youth groups, private schools, licensed day-care centers, or similar experience.
