We're looking for an experienced and professional Social Media Manager/Content Creator to join our team and assist in managing our clients' social media accounts. You'll be responsible for creating copy, graphic, and video content, managing posts, reels, and captions, engaging with followers, and performing client administration tasks, including fostering client relationships and necessary communications with their teams.
As a social media manager on our team, we'll expect you to be up-to-date with the latest social media trends and platform updates, specifically for Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Additionally, the best-suited candidate would have excellent communication skills, be a self-starter, an out-of-the-box thinker, and be able to express our clients' company's views unique to their brand voice.

Our boutique agency works with various small business owners, entrepreneurs and corporate companies. The skill to always stay professional but personable, pivot between brands, think for yourself on the fly, and have trust in oneself is a must!
The Details:
10 hours a week with opportunity to increase
Location: Hybrid Remote
Must be able to travel to Ridgewood, NJ or NYC 25% of the time.

Skill Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager/Coordinator
- Experience creating online content for brands-including graphic creation & video editing
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Eye for design
- Highly organized and a self starter
- Ability to create creative content (text, graphics, and videos)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with a social media scheduler (Hootsuite, Later, Vistasocial etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Skillful familiarity with Canva
- Ability to work under short deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a creative team
Responsibilities:
- Perform research on current trends and audience preferences
- High quality video edits
- Create strategic and creative content for clients (includes monthly newsletters, email creation, graphics in Canva and short-form video editing)
- Strategize and implement social media strategies to align with client's business goals
- Develop creative and unique content ideas aligned with client strategy
- Evaluate content performance and alter as needed to reach social media goals
- Craft compelling and strategic captions for content free of spelling, grammatical and formatting errors
- Create, edit, schedule, and publish engaging content (e.g., original text, photos, videos, reels, TikToks)
- Client community management: (Communicate with client page followers/engage)
- Oversee social media platforms' design (Facebook page cover, profile pictures, Instagram highlights, etc.)
- Be available on-site for content shoots in the NJ/NYC Area
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in social media, design tools, and applications
- Craft and post Instagram stories with best practices
- On-Camera Hosting: Be comfortable stepping in front of the camera as a brand personality, leading interactive or trend-based content with energy and enthusiasm.
- Needs to be comfortable talking to/individually meeting with clients and carry a professional demeanor

- Knows how to manage time well and be a self-starter, one who can take initiative and doesn't need to be micromanaged
